Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vito de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes Matos Velhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Moises Gayoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Vito de Godoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 9th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. Sabino Vilhena hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Stam made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sabino Vilhena however managed to control. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 27th minute. 28 minutes in the game Bo Stam did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sabino Vilhena. In the 33rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Matos Velhos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Júlio Gentil kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Joaquin Prats suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Generoso Silvino's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Silvino helped the player get up and apologised. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Joaquin Prats. After 41 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Silvino. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Domingos Palmeira tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Vito de Godoi. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vito de Godoi. Vito de Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Bo Stam with Tord Böcklund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bo Stam made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sabino Vilhena immediately put the ball in play. In the 64th minute, Henrique Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vito de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matos Velhos's Karl Nietlisbach was substituted for Sabino Vilhena. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Henrique Candal. But to his dismay, Henrique Candal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Henrique Candal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matos Velhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Candal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bo Stam in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Candal in the 77th minute of play. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Karl Nietlisbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 85th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After 91 minutes Matos Velhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. 93 minutes into the game, Bo Stam threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vito de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. The Matos Velhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
