The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vachon Camaño was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Vachon Camaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Alex Cambeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vachon Camaño, 2-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Somiedo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erroman Delgado to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Cuadrillero. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Nardo Tuo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Nardo Tuo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Somiedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Gilmar Cuadrillero hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Vachon Camaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Favila Heras hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Jaizki Colina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nardo Tuo in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piearres Somiedo. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Favila Heras hit a great ball. Panama were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
