Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamiel Stessel in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Kamiel Stessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led to Fecha Libre's Rodolfo Manni getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Emiliano Martínez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emiliano Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Martins Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Fecha Libre got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavino Hodei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cassius Byrne scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Martínez saved Fecha Libre from getting behind. In the last second Emiliano Martínez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Monty Rogers in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Emiliano Martínez made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martins Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igli Tare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when USA's Sam Campbell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
