Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. Du Guang Peng hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yao Bin Yun saved Fundação Marques dos Reis from getting behind. After 7 minutes, Cassius Byrne made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yao Bin Yun having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Yao Bin Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Taras Romanchuk made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 18th minute. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taras Romanchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Yao Bin Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Taras Romanchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundação Marques dos Reis's supporters rose to their feet, but Taras Romanchuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Fundação Marques dos Reis defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yao Bin Yun. The Fundação Marques dos Reis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yao Bin Yun should have stopped the shot. Yao Bin Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 36th minute of play. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Yao Bin Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play. Yao Bin Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Fabian Brown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Wesly Goemyne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Alexandre Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Alexandre Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taras Romanchuk was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Diego Bradley with Jenson Smith as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Yao Bin Yun made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Yao Bin Yun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Yao Bin Yun made a huge save. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yao Bin Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 81st minute of play. Taras Romanchuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Yao Bin Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. It was a well-played corner which Khalid Parry managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of USA booed when Fundação Marques dos Reis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Maxsø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenson Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
