When Jarell Hill came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarell Hill couldn't finish the play. Romon Oliver struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Armindo Bettencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. Armindo Bettencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Bettencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rua da Pinga's zone, Karlus Waugh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Bettencourt came out of the goal and Karlus Waugh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15th play minutes Finlay Stair shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Armindo Bettencourt and just under the crossbar into goal. Armindo Bettencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Bettencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarell Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Finlay Stair made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Bettencourt. Rua da Pinga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Finlay Stair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finlay Stair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Bettencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 32nd minute of play. Armindo Bettencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Finlay Stair put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Armindo Bettencourt. Armindo Bettencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlus Waugh went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Finlay Stair took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Bettencourt. Armindo Bettencourt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 47th minute, Finlay Stair made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Bettencourt. Rua da Pinga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After the first half Jamaica were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Armindo Bettencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarell Hill. When Wayan Freeman fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Wayan Freeman a yellow card for diving instead. Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Correia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kordal Duff in the 62nd minute of play forced Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Armindo Bettencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Bettencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romon Oliver in the 63rd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Javan Develder with Romon Oliver as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 67 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Armindo Bettencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romon Oliver. Armindo Bettencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamaica's Karlus Waugh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armindo Bettencourt. That made the score 0-8 after 74 minutes of play. With a little luck, Rua da Pinga's Armindo Bettencourt got control of the ball when Leron Sale tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Javan Develder hit a great ball. Armindo Bettencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romon Oliver in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Stair in the 85th minute of play forced Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Armindo Bettencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Bettencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Bettencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romon Oliver went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Jamaica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
