Thanks to some nice moves Markos Seremetidis could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. Markos Seremetidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
