An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 3rd minute of play forced Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Alberto Lucian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Virgilio Loi hit a great ball. Robin Fagrell's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Fagrell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Tapebicuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Lucian. Tapebicuá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcos Cotilla had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgilio Loi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Alberto Lucian despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Tapebicuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of the match. Alberto Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tapebicuá's Alberto Lucian. Alberto Lucian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Cristian Dolberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapebicuá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Loi made a kick off. Alberto Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Lucian saved Tapebicuá from getting behind. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Tomas Berganza got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Dylan Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Lucian was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Tapebicuá's goalkeeper Alberto Lucian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Cambeiro. In the 82nd match minute, Tapebicuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Franco to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alberto Lucian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tapebicuá's Robin Fagrell got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
