Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredrik Terwenhout started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 4th minute of play. Fredrik Terwenhout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 14 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sean Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Terwenhout in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Fredrik Terwenhout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fredrik Terwenhout tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Brend Vanden Driessche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Coekelbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris De Raeve in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fredrik Terwenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Terwenhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Sean Van Dijck made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. 3-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Brend Vanden Driessche elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 93rd minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Limburg United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
