Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bannister in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Bertol came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rayland FC's Joel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Rayland FC's Roger Bannister fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodoro Hernandez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Joel Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of the match.
