Cwajka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Warka in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Cwajka got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Jekot. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tata Rușanu having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Tata Rușanu. Cwajka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play forced Cwajka's goalkeeper Tata Rușanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Warka in the 45th minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Kosel during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ludomil Drugi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cwajka. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tata Rușanu. That made the score 3-3 after 92 minutes of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cwajka's goalkeeper Tata Rușanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
