In the 11th minute, Isaias Jakue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximo Horquizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
