Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhao Ran Ming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Camilo Ferrara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zack Doughty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. A hard shot 13 in the game by Zack Doughty from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. In the 15th minute Zack Doughty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhao Ran Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Ferrara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Zhao Ran Ming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Coventry Wasps's Zack Doughty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Mateusz Øager in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhao Ran Ming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Coventry Wasps's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 47 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Pete Munroe. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kant Cooley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Zhao Ran Ming. Coventry Wasps's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Camilo Ferrara. But to his dismay, Camilo Ferrara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 70th minute of play forced Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Ran Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kant Cooley in the 72nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Luz Tejedor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhao Ran Ming was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Julian Murillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Zhao Ran Ming however easily saved by the left post. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Mateusz Øager made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mark Booth however managed to control. 94 minutes in the game Mateusz Øager did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Camilo Ferrara.
