Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Jakue went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Juan Sartori hit a great ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Buceo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Maximo Horquizar made a huge save. After 20 minutes Sporting Buceo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximo Horquizar. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luca Rouco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar did a great save. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sartori. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Jakue was the one to do the kick off. When Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Isaias Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Filimon Gamburtsev. 71 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Horquizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 79th minute. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Charly Good. But to his dismay, Charly Good quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 86thth minute of the game Charly Good who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Good in the 88th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Charly Good tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Xinto Carreiras dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
