Corneliu Zubaşcu scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 傅寒锋 having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, FC Csíkszereda's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 傅寒锋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Corneliu Zubaşcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play forced FC Csíkszereda's goalkeeper 傅寒锋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, FC Csíkszereda's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but 傅寒锋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 傅寒锋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of the match. The corner led Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo to fire away a dangerous shot which 傅寒锋 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Eugen Chiriță fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Csíkszereda's protests and gave Eugen Chiriță a yellow card for diving instead. Eugen Chiriță kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

FC Csíkszereda made a substitution. Gelu Tănase replaced Ilie Balaci. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneliu Zubaşcu to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but 傅寒锋 made a huge save. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FC Csíkszereda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 傅寒锋 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 傅寒锋 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Csíkszereda defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 傅寒锋. The FC Csíkszereda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 傅寒锋 should have stopped the shot. 傅寒锋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 68th minute of the match. 傅寒锋 made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Grigore Arbore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Cicortaș came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Csíkszereda's Iacob Zgaroi got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Csíkszereda's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but 傅寒锋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 傅寒锋 made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Xavier Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 傅寒锋. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Csíkszereda booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 傅寒锋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorin Dedu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Csíkszereda. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Csíkszereda were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
