Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulvis Kreigers could save by the left post. In the 7th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bäckeby Fotboll's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulvis Kreigers came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulvis Kreigers made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ulvis Kreigers made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Mickelsson in the 17th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvis Kreigers having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Bäckeby Fotboll's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Ulvis Kreigers, making the score, 1-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Pruss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johannes Mickelsson who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Mickelsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Zbyszek Pruss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of play forced Bäckeby Fotboll's goalkeeper Ulvis Kreigers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Bäckeby Fotboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Ulvis Kreigers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvis Kreigers having to interfere. When Leif Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Bäckeby Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvis Kreigers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Bäckeby Fotboll's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulvis Kreigers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ulvis Kreigers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers. Ulvis Kreigers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bäckeby Fotboll made a substitution. Johannes Jansson replaced Johannes Mickelsson. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Johannes Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Hjälm hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bäckeby Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Jansson in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ulvis Kreigers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
