Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabricio Rosalio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Formentera's Fabricio Rosalio. Fabricio Rosalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pastor Oriche got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pastor Oriche hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Fabricio Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Formentera's Fabricio Rosalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes in the game, Eliseo Noboa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabricio Rosalio having to interfere. Isaias Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Fabricio Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Fabricio Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Rosalio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Rosalio having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes, Formentera's Isidoro Gimenez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Formentera reached it.
