The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jose Manzanedo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute, António Varanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Varanda's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Machados FC V2's Israel Moutinho was substituted for Paul Levițchi. The supporters of Chile booed when Machados FC V2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Varanda in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Varanda got free with Thiago Pliego in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Remzi Bozlak. António Varanda took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Machados FC V2 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
