After a rather tough play, Chile's Pedro Indiano got a free kick in the 19th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cristiano Ronaldinho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Neacșu in the 23rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Gigi Neacșu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Neacșu in the 26th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Liviu Aldulescu made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Cetatea Suceava's goalkeeper Liviu Aldulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. The audience was convinced that Gigi Neacșu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Cristian Elian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mariano Lacasa sped through Cetatea Suceava's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Liviu Aldulescu. 56 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liviu Aldulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Aldulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Cristiano Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cetatea Suceava's Liviu Aldulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Elian came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Cetatea Suceava's Gigi Neacșu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Gigi Neacșu came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Liviu Aldulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Cetatea Suceava getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nicolae Stroici hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Cetatea Suceava got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Alfonsi. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liviu Aldulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Neacșu in the 95th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
