After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Miguel Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dominic Solanki managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Solanki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 55th minute, Aureliano Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Guillermo Fiorillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Guillermo Fiorillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teobaldo Urtun kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Fiorillo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Guillermo Fiorillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The throw-in from Aureliano Cristos in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. 83 minutes into the match, ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️'s Guillermo Fiorillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Melquiades Ladio who took care of the corner kick. When Guillermo Fiorillo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fiorillo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ♛ ͲօէէҽղƒìҽӀժ ⚽️ had won, even though Venezuela had held more of the ball.
