If Betão Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Betão Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Alfredão Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Vargas in the 9th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Campon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tony Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. The goalkeeper, Tony Chaves, was totally fooled by Colombia's Kevin Mastache, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes of play, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
