Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdi Revis went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Leonardo Trancoso sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Mexico's Luca Rouco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luca Rouco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luca Rouco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 15th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faas Wilkes got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Trancoso made a kick off. Faas Wilkes scored 3-1 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio was substituted for Eric Van Lint. In the 56th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 59th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After 69 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Börje Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vykans Vikingar. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcus Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Hermansson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vykans Vikingar were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
