Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Revis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Faas Wilkes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 31st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Revis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Revis in the 36th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After having played for 46 minutes, Faas Wilkes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faas Wilkes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Jose Indalecio replaced Eric Van Lint. Martin Mutumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alberto Tafalla advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-3 in the 63rd minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Tage Glanselius. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 86th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Mutumba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Mutumba slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 92nd minute.
