In the 8th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Yepes lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Sitko in the 23rd minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Sitko came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Boreham Wood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Popowicz to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Kilarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Luque in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Miroslaw Mindykowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boreham Wood FC and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miroslaw Mindykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Tytus Juroszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Boreham Wood FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Luque made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Boreham Wood FC's Karol Sitko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Leguizamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Kilarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliusz Popowicz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jorge Magrina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boreham Wood FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over El Salvador's much stronger midfield.
