Witold Blochowiak had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílton da Rocha during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Comanche EC's Amílton da Rocha got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Blochowiak in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. García Cuervas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comanche EC. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, García Cuervas took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. Witold Blochowiak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Witold Blochowiak slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 26th minute. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when García Cuervas got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. García Cuervas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Janek Tomek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janek Tomek having to interfere. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Comanche EC's García Cuervas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Comanche EC's Sidney Vidal got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Comanche EC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Janek Tomek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Witold Blochowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. García Cuervas was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game García Cuervas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when García Cuervas came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Janek Tomek managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute, Jean-Jacques Rousseau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. Comanche EC's Janek Tomek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Comanche EC from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Witold Blochowiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Blochowiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Blochowiak in the 79th minute of play. Camilo Franco came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Janek Tomek could save by the left post. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Amílton da Rocha made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Comanche EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
