Julio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of the match. Los kyes's Julio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 7th minute of play. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Nderim Pepo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Bertil Bergström made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Julio Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 15th minute of play. Los kyes's Julio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Los kyes's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Julio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Los kyes's Nderim Pepo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Julio Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes Los kyes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 39th minute Nderim Pepo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Nderim Pepo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nderim Pepo took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Los kyes's Julio Vidal got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adama Traore struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los kyes. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los kyes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Milagros Fraga advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Los kyes's Julio Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Los kyes from getting a goal against them. Julio Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 87th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Los kyes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 91st minute, Adama Traore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's Antonio Tenorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los kyes to leave the ground with a draw.
