Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zigor Barroso got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Zigor Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Cometuétano's goalkeeper Miks Lecis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cometuétano from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigor Barroso in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Miks Lecis made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miks Lecis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cometuétano from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Miks Lecis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miks Lecis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miks Lecis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Miks Lecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigor Barroso in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Leroy Vera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leroy Vera scored 3-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miks Lecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute of play. When Leroy Vera fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cometuétano's protests and gave Leroy Vera a yellow card for diving instead. Cometuétano's Kepa Portillo was substituted for Alejandro Sevilla. In the 76th minute, Leroy Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miks Lecis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miks Lecis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Miks Lecis. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
