Cao Shi Yi scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aníbal Lorenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cao Shi Yi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play forced The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. 41 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aníbal Lorenzi. The Team FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aníbal Lorenzi was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.
