Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celsinho Alves started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Paiva in the 4th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Bebeto Paiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adhemar Godoi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Agostinho de Amorim in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agostinho de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 37th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agostinho de Amorim. Agostinho de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Luiz Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agostinho de Amorim saved ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞ from getting behind. Celsinho Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Paiva in the 73rd minute of play. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agostinho de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. ✞✞ POMMERISH KIND F.C. ✞✞'s Agostinho de Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Costa Rica support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
