Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anton Gallberg made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 minutes, Per-Olof Lennartsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Lennartsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Tingelholm. Lautaro Puig came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claes Hjortsberg could save by the left post. Claes Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nykvarn the free kick. After 26 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Hjortsberg. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. In the 56th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Hjortsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Anton Gallberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Eliseo Noboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Claes Hjortsberg came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jan Norberg hit a great ball. After 83 minutes Nykvarn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claes Hjortsberg quite easily take care of the ball. Claes Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peder Ingvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nykvarn's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Costa Rica had won, even though Nykvarn had held more of the ball.
