Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Bologna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Florencio Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Masters United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chile's Francisco Carballar to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Bologna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Masters United F.C. defense, Francisco Carballar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Bologna. The Masters United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Bologna should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Martin Istad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Bologna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Florencio Rafe sent off a good shot on target. Florencio Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
