Saronida FC's Panos Kabourakos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 5th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Susara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Carballar in the 10th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Valerios Voutsas sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Schneider came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valerios Voutsas got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Valerios Voutsas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Valerios Voutsas rounded Colombia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurențiu Susara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurențiu Susara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Saronida FC's Laurențiu Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valerios Voutsas. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerios Voutsas was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Schneider came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manos Oustabasidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saronida FC made a substitution. Huang Tian Yun replaced Valerios Voutsas. Saronida FC's Savas Ravousis was substituted for Manos Oustabasidis. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huang Tian Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huang Tian Yun went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 82 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Laurențiu Susara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Karl-Heinz Schneider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saronida FC's Stelios Skountouflas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Laurențiu Susara threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laurențiu Susara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 92nd minute. Orlando Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Tian Yun in the 94th minute of play. Laurențiu Susara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saronida FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
