When Afiz Cho fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cremonese FC's protests and gave Afiz Cho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Cremonese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Cho to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kong Gang Zhan having to interfere. The supporters of Panama booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Jaraczeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 24th minute really tested Kong Gang Zhan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Cho came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a Cremonese FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Branco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Dylan Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Cremonese FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Batista in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Kong Gang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Branco's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Branco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Yasar Bonnemain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Cremonese FC defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kong Gang Zhan. The Cremonese FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kong Gang Zhan should have stopped the shot. Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Batista in the 66th minute of play. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 86th match minute, Cremonese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Lara to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kong Gang Zhan having to interfere. When Afiz Cho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cremonese FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afiz Cho couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cremonese FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
