When Ludomil Trzaskoma fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mercier-Est's protests and gave Ludomil Trzaskoma a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes FC Mercier-Est got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Trzaskoma. FC Mercier-Est's Manuel Medeleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jayson Ham in the 7th minute of play. Manuel Medeleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 14th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jayson Ham came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, FC Mercier-Est's Ignace Bailey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignace Bailey in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Manuel Medeleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Manuel Medeleanu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignace Bailey in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Mercier-Est were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignace Bailey made a kick off. If Jayson Ham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Costandache kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Manuel Medeleanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Medeleanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the match, FC Mercier-Est's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Manuel Medeleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute of play forced FC Mercier-Est's goalkeeper Manuel Medeleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thommy Vuerinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thommy Vuerinx came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Mercier-Est's Ludomil Trzaskoma got a free kick in the 86th minute. The throw-in from Ludomil Trzaskoma in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. FC Mercier-Est's Manuel Medeleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. FC Mercier-Est's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
