Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Felix Pascua started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Caton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pascua came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Victor Peres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Alonzo Gipils came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Gipils couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justavino Centeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Pascua hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Vedeja, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Loja S.C. were furious when Justavino Centeno was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 33rd minute, Justavino Centeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoro Rayon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Felix Pascua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Pascua in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Sala, made in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Gipils to maneuver through the defense. Loja S.C.'s Luis-Antonio Barraza got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis-Antonio Barraza's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis-Antonio Barraza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Luis-Antonio Barraza got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victor Peres. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Pedro Gudesteo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes in the game, Fabricio Vedeja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Fabricio Vedeja came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. Lautaro Navarro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Joel Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Fabricio Vedeja got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Caton saved Loja S.C. from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Fabricio Vedeja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Honduras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Loja S.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Loja S.C..
