In the 21st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Maleth F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luca Rouco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play forced Maleth F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederick Pulè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederick Pulè showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Maleth F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play forced Maleth F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederick Pulè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Pulè saved Maleth F.C. from getting behind. After 44 minutes Maleth F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Rouco made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Maleth F.C.'s Frederick Pulè managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Pulè saved Maleth F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of Maleth F.C. booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frederick Pulè, 1-1. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maleth F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Macos Graciani managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Macos Graciani fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Macos Graciani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Maleth F.C.'s Gaudencio Quinto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Maleth F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Botond Petres kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Maleth F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Frederick Pulè, making the score, 1-2. Alberto Tafallas short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Frederick Pulè to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frederick Pulè stood somewhat misplaced when Alberto Tafalla came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Frederick Pulè made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyrone Tabone in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Maleth F.C.'s Jason Schembri Zerafa got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play forced Maleth F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederick Pulè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederick Pulè showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Maleth F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Incorvaia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 93rd minute of play forced Maleth F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederick Pulè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Pulè. Maleth F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
