But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Bejrut couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, PINI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Manuel Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witalis Bejrut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after PINI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PINI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Mochowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Magalhães. PINI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Igor Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Manuel Magalhães in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Magalhães quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Magalhães firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the PINI FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Magalhães. The PINI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Magalhães should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd match minute, PINI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Mourato to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, PINI FC's Manuel Magalhães got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
