Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. SAPSALOMADA FC's Nikos Nikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikos Nikolaou despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SAPSALOMADA FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Nikolaou came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Stelios Vakalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Eleftherios Poulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleftherios Poulis in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the match, SAPSALOMADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nikos Nikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ntinos Salevris hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nikos Nikolaou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Nikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikos Nikolaou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SAPSALOMADA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 48 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 48th minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ntinos Salevris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ntinos Salevris in the 53rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Nikos Nikolaou however easily saved by the left post. Nikos Nikolaou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Umur Sehhar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Ntinos Salevris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 林川扬 charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nikos Nikolaou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. SAPSALOMADA FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
