Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. FC Wypyszek's Lucjan Polkoski got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 18 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute, Pawel Jekot made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Costa made a kick off. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Piotr Modliszewski sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 72nd minute Donald Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
