Phillipe Lache hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Dyczkowski in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play forced Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Bogdan Marek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Pawelczyk came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszek Pawelczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. 胡皓泉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Galja Kraków's Bogdan Marek got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Trynda.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Galja Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Bazan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Galja Kraków booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Galja Kraków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Marek should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Peru were victorious despite being under pressure from Galja Kraków for much of the match.
