Thanks to some nice moves Fabrizio Hamilton could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Fabrizio Hamilton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Tabone, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Pulè narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jason Schembri Zerafa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maleth F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Schembri Zerafa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Tyrone Tabone made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Jason Schembri Zerafa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maleth F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maleth F.C.'s Jason Schembri Zerafa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jason Schembri Zerafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Frederick Pulè to make any attempt to save it. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botond Petres hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Tabone in the 77th minute of the match. Frederick Pulè made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Frederick Pulè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Frederick Pulè made a huge save. Maleth F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
