Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Er Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Countdown FC's Er Miner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Barros in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Er Miner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Washington Demartis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Er Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Demartis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Er Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. If Washington Demartis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Er Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor Barros to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Demartis in the 54th minute of play. João Vítor Barros struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Countdown FC. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Countdown FC's Diguinho Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Barros in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Washington Demartis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Countdown FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Barros in the 69th minute of the match. Ernani Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, João Vítor Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Countdown FC's Er Miner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Countdown FC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
