An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Prats in the 9th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Niculae Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Horaţiu Pintilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sever Crăiniceanu fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s protests and gave Sever Crăiniceanu a yellow card for diving instead. Sever Crăiniceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 39th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Ciprian Halipa replaced Aurel Teodoroiu. The wind increased when Nicolae Bosioc made the kick off in the second half. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 54thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Horaţiu Pintilie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Cristi Ciprian replaced Nicolae Bosioc. Peru's Joaquin Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dan Burdujan, made in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Niculae Rădvan made a huge save. Ciprian Halipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 75th minute of the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Pintilie in the 78th minute of play. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelian Odobescu in the 79th minute. The corner ended in Viorel Iacobescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Pintilie, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After 89 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Felix Codin. 91 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Rădvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Niculae Rădvan in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Rădvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC PIETROSUL -MM- to leave the ground with a draw.
