A well done corner resulted in Eleuterio Tab drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Uruguay's goalkeeper. Hernan Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Eleazar. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Eleazar should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Ati Cabezudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Franco took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Eleazar. Hernan Eleazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hernan Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Hernan Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Argider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hernan Eleazar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hernan Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hernan Eleazar made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a free kick in the 85th minute. Uruguay played a much better game than Despidida AFC and deserved their victory. The Despidida AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
