Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Washington Demartis came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Countdown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington Demartis couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Washington Demartis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Washington Demartis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alfredão Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Countdown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Er Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. Er Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 47th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Er Miner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 59 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After 60 played minutes, Countdown FC's Diguinho Rezende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Countdown FC reached it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Barros in the 65th minute of play. Countdown FC's Er Miner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Countdown FC from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes Countdown FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Countdown FC's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Countdown FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Countdown FC's Er Miner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Countdown FC from getting a goal against them. Er Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Countdown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Daniel Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Er Miner made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Er Miner. Er Miner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 87 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Vítor Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Er Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Countdown FC to leave the ground with a draw.
