With an extended leg and a bit of luck Illés Kiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boldizsár Szabados's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Újlõrincfalva LC.
