Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sufi Hançer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Müslüm Beksan managed to get in a good position for a shot. İki Gözümün Çiçeği's supporters rose to their feet, but Müslüm Beksan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Nuratay Göktepe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Sufi Hançer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Murathan Paye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Murathan Paye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murathan Paye made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murathan Paye's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sufi Hançer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azmi Akburak in the 66th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Paye came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Murathan Paye ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 80th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by İki Gözümün Çiçeği's Azmi Akburak. But to his dismay, Azmi Akburak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murathan Paye in the 90th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İki Gözümün Çiçeği's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
