Wit Literski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Bernard Gotfryd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Fujara kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Literski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 32 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wit Literski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Czeslaw Gorzkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Bienienda in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Keyes's Emil Bienienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 67th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Tomas Berganza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Keyes's Wit Literski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Bienienda in the 79th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wit Literski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Pleban in the 84th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Literski having to interfere. When Bernard Gotfryd fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keyes's protests and gave Bernard Gotfryd a yellow card for diving instead. Bernard Gotfryd hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Keyes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
