Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Pardo made the kick off which started today's match. Primitivo Escribano struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Bertil Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Sjöberg having to interfere. If Anton Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 20 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. 24 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertil Sjöberg, 2-0. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rikard Wallin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nykvarn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Wallin in the 34th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Bertil Sjöberg managed to make a qualified save. Nykvarn's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Primitivo Escribano's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nykvarn's zone, Primitivo Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Sjöberg came out of the goal and Primitivo Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rikard Wallin to make the kick off. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bertil Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Anton Gallberg in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 67th minute, Primitivo Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nykvarn's goalkeeper Bertil Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Norberg's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Norberg to maneuver through the defense. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Juan Diego Tenorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nykvarn the free kick. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Sjöberg having to interfere. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nykvarn's goalie prevented a goal. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Gallberg in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paraguay had played much better football throughout.
