Felix Luque hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of the match. Faas Wilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio was substituted for Eric Van Lint. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Revis in the 66th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 69th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 72nd minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 79th minute of play. Börje Stål hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Marcus Ekrot managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mats Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
