Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bajbusy Fabian-a's Germán Cano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Kajetan Zagrobelny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 39th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Bajbusy Fabian-a got a freekick which was hit by Stiff Lucas. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kajetan Zagrobelny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kajetan Zagrobelny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustão Freire, made in the 47th minute of the game. Tolek Walentowicz hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Izydor Opat was the one to do the kick off. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germán Cano in the 53rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bajbusy Fabian-a were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
